There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

Students assist our P & C in creating bunches of flowers for our Mothers Day stall.

Crescent Head P & C hosts many different activities and fundraisers throughout the year. The annual Colour Run is one of the student's favourites! However, the Trivia Night is always a very highly rated night out in the village.

Our beautiful garden beds flourish with lots of different plants, flowers, vegetables, succulents and herbs. These gardens have been known to attract the native Australian blue-banded bee! Which we know and appreciate how much of an important role they play in pollinating our native plants and crops.

Macleay Public Schools Music Festival is an annual event held at Melville High School. Majority of public schools across the Macleay Valley have their students perform in a wide variety of musical talent. A mass choir also performs encompassing all the primary schools.

Stage 3 participate in surfing for sport 10 weeks of the school year. Fully qualified instructors teach our students to surf. For those who already surf have the opportunity to improve their style with the help of our coaches. During these sessions they also learn about beach safety as well as ocean and water awareness.
