Our School Swimming and Water Safety Program will be held in Weeks 7 and 8 of this Term at the Crescent Aquatic Centre. This is an intensive learn to swim program which develops water confidence and provides students with basic skills in water safety and survival. The program will continue daily for 2 weeks from 18th – 29th November 2024. This swimming program will assess each individual’s current swimming competence and place them into groups that will enable them to build on and strengthen these competencies. Therefore, this program is designed to assist both the less confident swimmer as well as more confident swimmers. **Even if your child is a competent swimmer there is still plenty to learn from going to this swimming program. Instructors discuss all areas of water safety and run through effective swimming techniques for emergency situations. The aim for competent swimmers is to build on their swimming strength, endurance and techniques as we are surrounded by beautiful beaches, rivers, creeks, dams and pools.

The CHPS Presentation Assembly for 2024 will be held in the school hall from 9.30am. This final assembly for 2024 will acknowlege our senior students for the last time and present the major awards for the year culminating in the announcement of the 2024 Dux and school leaders for 2025.

Wednesday 18th December is the last day at CHPS for all students for 2024. All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 commence on Thursday 6th February.
