Positive Behaviour for Learning
Building supportive and effective learning environments for all students
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is based on the assumption that expected behaviour needs to be explicitly taught, practiced and reinforced in the same way as any other skill. Just as teachers explicitly teach academic skills, there is a similar need to teach behavioural skills. This teaching happens across all school settings for generic behaviours as well as for more targeted, specific problem behaviours for either groups of students of individuals.
